In early March, part of Active Re’s Senior Management and the Underwriting teams had the opportunity to participate in the 5th Annual Dubai World Insurance Congress (DWIC). The event organizers worked hard to deliver unparalleled networking, business and thought leadership opportunities all under one roof.
This edition was held at the Ritz Carlton DIFC, on the doorstep of one of the world’s most advanced financial centers and the leading financial hub for the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA). The congress welcomed more than 800 delegates, as well as many others based at the DIFC.
Active Re took the opportunity to sponsor a roundtable to meet with several major brokers and insurance companies in the Dubai region; the hub of the region. This was, of course, in addition to the meetings with various delegations at the numerous side events.
